7 Prep the Surface Space out & section off letter spaces & border area
Remember to leave more space for the first letter Create guidelines for you letters to fit between Start outlining your calligraphy letters & your illuminated letter

8 Calligraphy Letters Fill in your letters with ink /paint
Use a flat brush at an angle Be sure to pick up enough paint for the whole stroke Take your time & make it neat Let Dry

9 Illuminated Initial Ink / paint the letter as needed using fine point brush Let dry Add decorative lines using colored sharpie
