4. Movement & Gesture Tips Start out simple. Practice doing gestures of common events, such as washing the dishes or brushing your teeth. Face the audience. If you turn your back to the audience, they cant see the movement or gesture. Make the action believable. Practice and observe yourself in a mirror doing the action.
