Q: What are the most important values you demonstrate as a leader? A: The desire to see a team member shine Q: How can a leader fail? A: By being threatened by the success of a team mate, as well as failure to enforce rules and regulations equally

Q: What are the consistencies you see in leasers? Please explain? A: The willingness to “get in the trenches” and lead by example Q: What is the most difficult part of being a leader? A: Dealing with seemingly petty differences between individuals that inhibit team work

Q: What do you consider important in a leader? A: The ability to listen to staff concerns and acknowledge those who go above and beyond job expectations Q: What attributes do you seek in a leader? A: Sincere desire to see each team member reach their full potential.

Q: Do you believe leadership is developed by nature or nurture? Please explain? I believe leadership qualities are both inherent traits that are brought to the forefront and honed by mentors who believe in sharing and a desire to see an individual succeed.

Katy has been recognized for numerous awards, such as TVMA Technician of the year, and patient advocate. She has lectured at international meetings as well as national, state and regional symposiums. Published articles and book chapters. I’m honored to be working with such an amazing person/technician! I admire her talents and leaderships skills. THANK YOU KATY!!
