Without majority vote in electoral college, the House of Representatives elects the president---vote by states and majority wins
Senate chooses the Vice—vote is individual and majority is needed

4. Impeachment “to bring charges against an individual”
House has sole power to impeach but 2/3 Senate needed for conviction

5. Executive Powers to Senate
All major appointments must be confirmed by majority vote
2/3 Senate must confirm treaties made by the President
