3. Maple City Driving School will start a Segment 1 class today, Oct. 1st
Maple City Driving School will start a Segment 1 class today, Oct. 1st. The class will start that Monday right after school in room a-100. Information about this class and all other classes can be found in the main office. 

4. The Drama Club will be starting up for the 18-19 school year
The Drama Club will be starting up for the school year.  Our first meeting will be today, October 1 right after school in A101.  If you have any questions please see Ms. Barricklow.

5. Homecoming week is sure to be busy, but maybe you can squeeze one more event on your calendar! The Adrian Schools Educational Foundation will be presenting its annual Outstanding Alumni and Outstanding Teacher Mentor Awards at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 4 in the AHS Performing Arts Center. There is a reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. Two of this year’s teacher honorees are from the high school: Mr. Allor and Mrs. Lucius. Also honored as an outstanding teacher is Mr. Ruesink from the Adrian Community Education Program. Students who would like to attend can pick up a complimentary ticket in the high school office.

6. Do you like to play games of strategy
Do you like to play games of strategy? Do you like to outsmart your opponent? Then you should check out the Equations team this year. Practices for the Equations team will begin Wednesday, October 3rd and Thursday October 4th from 2:45 to 3:45 pm in room 227. New members are encouraged to attend one of the practices to find out all about the game and our competitions. If you have any questions about the Equations team, please see Mrs. Kaiser in room 227.

7. If you are a PM Tech Center student and wish to stay at AHS for the Homecoming parade, please stop by the main office and print your name on the Tech sign out sheet.

8. Students who were invite to go with Mr Gonzalez on October 19th to Siena Heights, please return your field trip form and remember to register for the conference. Forms can be dropped off to Mr Gonzalez in room A109. 

9. Attention Maples!  Here are the Spirit days for this week's homecoming activities! Tuesday: Family Fuedsday-Find your Family Fued Crew and dress alike.  Go full-out Twinning, or just all keep the same theme, but everyone should know you’re a team.  Make sure everyone gets a pic to show your teachers. Wednesday: Wheel of Fortune Day-Seniors: Black Juniors: Blue Sophomores: White Freshmen: Green Teachers: Yellow Thursday: Get on T.V. day-The crazier you look, the more likely you are to get on t.v.!  Costumes, wacky hair and clothes, shirts with funny sayings are all approved! Friday: Maple Day- Show your Maple Pride in as much of your Maple gear as possible! Please remember Maples, all spirit day outfits must still be school appropriate and must meet the dress code requirements.
