JWP Design & Facilitation
Working towards a shared understanding Socialization of key documents and tools Working towards greater impact Taking inventory of partners’ activities Making convergence work in practice Co-locating operations Developing an activities calendar Building consensus Promoting adaptive management Facilitation Modality The JWP will be facilitated as this will allow all participants regardless of their organizational or agency background to work together to contribute to and participate in the planning session. The recent work in developing and reviewing an operational plan revealed the need to be very clear on shared values and definitions. Time dedicated towards this at the JWP will help partners reach this point. Facilitated joint partner workplanning brings a deeper level of communication and focus. Combining advance reading of documents A bit of plenary presentation Question and answer Group work And then progress towards an action planning approach.
