3. Project justification
Structural changes in S&T production are occurring
This entails an increased weight of social dynamics in S&T, which are scarcely recog-nised and managed
Therefore, the question is socialising S&T, i.e. identifying and learning to control these dynamics
Hence the need for integrating social sciences into S&T
SS-ERC

4. Project aims General objectives
strengthening the role of social sciences in S&T reseach
Specific objectives:
Evaluating the weight of social sciences
Identifying hindering and facilitating factors in integrating social sciences into S&T
Supporting policies aimed at this integration
Increasing the awareness on social dynamics in S&T
