Normal operation (2nd dash in 3.1.9) 1st-dot type Operating 1st test In parallel Charging 2nd test Charging 2nd-dot type Charging Operating In series Problem The both of the 1st-dot and 2nd-dot types have a charging cycle without operating, but the CDV limits requirement for charging time (duration) to the 1st-dot type. Clause 11.7 is to only specify testing time (duration), not testing mode, so 11.7 should specify a charging time for not only 1st-dot type but also 2nd- dot type. Therefore, delete the red text from 3rd dash to cover the both dot types. For appliances ….. – ……… – can perform their intended function while the batteries are being charged the fully discharged battery is charged, for a duration of 24 h or until it is fully charged whichever is shorter, without the battery-operated appliance performing its intended function;
