Purpose To identify the tools and their attributes; developer, purpose, status, location, etc. To discuss whether their attributes require updates. To discuss updates to the tools themselves.

Tool List: Current Status
GSICS collaboration Servers – EUMETSAT lead GSICS plotting tool – EUMETSAT lead GSICS product catalogue – GCC lead GSICS wiki – NOAA lead GSICS SRF – JMA/NOAA lead GSICS netCDF format checker – NOAA lead GSICS products netCDF generation – EUM/CMA GSICS Wiki, input from Tim - Hi Pete, Yes - I do have a problem with it. Lots of problems with it: It’s on the Wiki – so only those with an account can update their actions It’s on the Wiki – so you have to ignore the security warning to read it You cannot sort the actions to see which you are responsible for – or which are already closed It’s a pain in the neck! But it’s better than nothing. And maybe better than anything else GCC can dream up. So I have given up chasing for now. I would be happy for GDWG to discuss these requirements and propose an alternative solution. Cheers, Tim
