3. Monitor Progress on Positron Trigger and SVT Upgrades
Rafo and Tim reviewed status of Positron Trigger and SVT Upgrades for EC on several occasions.
Rafo presented Posi Trig Design for Review Issues raised: precise positioning and survey, magnetic shielding Issues have been addressed.

5. Discussed Strategy for next HPS publications
Matt and Nathan reviewed plans.
mm Bump Hunt to be submitted to Phys Rev Rapid Communications. Submit Spring, Omar + Matt G will lead.
mm Bump Hunt and L1L1 Vertex Search to be submitted to Phys Rev D. Submit Dec Omar? + ? will lead bump hunt; Matt G + Matt S will lead vertex search.

6. 2015 Bump Hunt Analysis Note EC Review
Very few comments received from Collaboration.
Norman’s ad hoc review committee (established by Analysis Group) granted approval.
EC granted conditional approval, awaiting details on handling of A’ radiative tail.
EC granted approval to distribute first draft of the paper, with the understanding that Analysis Note approval is still required before submitting for publication.

7. Procedures for presenting and publishing results
HPS is still finding its way as we prepare our first Analysis Note and our first Publication.
EC had thorough a discussion of old rules, shortcomings, new situations. Some Critical Conclusions: * Any new physics result must be described in an Analysis Note * New results must be shown to HPS ≥ 1 week before public presentation * New results must be approved by EC, PPC, and 2/3rds of Collab voters * Thesis results must be shown to HPS ≥ 1 week before defense

8. 2015 bump hunt analysis
Omar presented updates to EC on several occasions * Readiness of Analysis Note * Limits in Analysis Note worse than before * Causes of degraded Limits * Strategy forward
Author list for 2015 paper reviewed * List of shift takers plus other contributors is on confluence * Petitions for additions were considered * M. Solt, who joined just after the 2015 run and contributed to understanding SVT performance, was added.

9. HPS Transitions

Changing of the Guard * Tim Nelson will replace John Jaros, who is retiring, as an HPS Co-Spokesperson, effective this meeting. * Tim will also replace John as SLAC HPS Group Leader, effective July 1. * John will continue as an HPS Collaborator and will serve on EC with voting privileges, “as long as he votes right.”

10. HPS Elections
