Partners color pictures that show ways to earn money. Whole group sorts pictures of chores and playtime activities. In journals, make a flip book on chores. With partners, play puzzle game with chore pictures. Whole sorts pictures of income earned and gifts received. In journals make flip book on income earned. With partners complete Income or Gifts worksheet. Students will play Math Stations with their partners. No School Vocabulary Money Income Job Earn Chore gift Higher order questions/ELLs Discuss with your partner what income is. How would you orally demonstrate the difference between chores and playtime? Write using vocabulary words: income and job. Explain what the problem is with this statement?
