5 Catalog Manager Overview

6 Format of the templates
There are two templates: Single Tab Template and Multi-Tab Template. You will receive your own template from our team For the Single Tab Template, only Product Catalog is mandatory. It contains all the information necessary to build the catalog For the Multi Tab Template, the obligatory tabs are Products and Contract Pricing. The tabs Relationships and Attributes are optional. The following tabs are present in both the Single and Multi Tab Templates: Instructions, Customer’s specific classifications, Client Views, UOM, Languages, Icon List. How to upload attachments

7 Product Catalog Tab: Single Tab Catalog Template
The Catalog Tab is where you will build your catalog by inputting information for each field

8 Instructions Tab The Instructions Tab gives you a detailed description of how the fields in each tab are to be filled out

9 Customer’s specific classifications: Single Tab Catalog Template
The Customer’s specific classifications tab provides you with the necessary classification codes you need for all your catalog items

10 Client Views: Single Tab Catalog Template
The Client Views is provided by your buyer to allow your catalog items to be seen in different views based on the end user’s language settings. Please ask the buyer for the correct view codes for your catalog

11 UOM Tab The UOM Tab gives you the units of measurement you will need to use for your articles

12 Language Tab Language codes are used to assign additional language attributes for a product

13 Icon List Tab Icon List is used if you would like to display an icon for your item, once it appears on Search Manager

14 Summary Tab: Multi-Tab Template
The Summary Tab summarizes the information found in the other tabs found in the Catalog Template.

15 Header Tab: Multi-Tab Template
The Header Tab is used if the supplier has any questions regarding the template. For Multi-Tab Templates, this is the first tab that should be in place before the catalog template is uploaded

The Contact Pricing Tab is used to input information relative to price.

The Relationships Tab is used to input information regarding the relationship of different items

The Attributes Tab is used to input information regarding the attributes of different items

20 How to insert files in the catalog template: ThumbName
details-casual-shirt.jpg Two options to insert pictures in this field: Input the complete filename of the Thumbnail Image file. The most commonly supported formats are (.jpg) and (.gif).  However, other picture formats such as (.png) can also be used.   If the image is found on the internet, input the URL link. Ideally, the images should be either 200x200 or 345x280 in size.  The thumbnail will appear beside the product on the search results page.

21 How to insert files in the catalog template: PicName
Two options to insert pictures in this field: Input the complete filename of the Thumbnail Image file.  The most commonly supported formats are (.jpg) and (.gif).  However, other picture formats such as (.png) can also be used.   If the image is found on the internet, input the URL link. For optimum resolution, the recommended images should be 400 px in size.  If the image is bigger, the system spends more time to display it in a pop-up once the user clicks on it. Larger images will be resized to the optimum width and corresponding height on the detail page. Images are REQUIRED unless an exception has been granted by the customer or if the item is for a service (kindly check with your buyer on this). The picture will appear on the product details page PicName details-casual-shirt.jpg

22 Picture and Attachment management
ThumbName PicName details-casual-shirt.jpg When inserting .jpg or .gif files in either the ThumbName or PicName fields, you must upload the images as attachments separately into Catalog Manager. Make sure that the filename indicated in the template matches the actual filename of the image on your computer, including the file extension. Please note that the information in these fields is case sensitive. Place all pictures in a .zip folder and ensure that there are no sub-folders inside the zip file. Go to the How to upload attachments section in order to learn how to upload your pictures on Catalog Manager

2. Choose update type. Full replacement completely replaces a previously uploaded catalog or if you are uploading the catalog for the first time. Incremental Updates allows you to modify, add, and delete certain items in an older catalog 3. Enables supplier admin to review a catalog before the catalog is sent to the buyer 4. Click on Next

6. Click on Next 5. Input your address so that you will be notified if your catalog upload falls into error.

7. You must always select Uploading 8. Upload a catalog from your computer 10. Press next 9. Select activation date for catalog publication

11. Once on this page, the system starts to process your catalog. You will be notified via if any error is detected during the upload.

32 Catalog Errors The status Completed with errors means that there are errors in the catalog that need to be corrected. Click on the blue link to open the errors report

2. The date only displays catalogs that have been processed within the last 7 days. Removing the date and clicking search shows all processed catalogs 3. Supplier Workflow refers to your uploaded catalog. Customer Workflow means that your catalog has been sent to your buyer. Customer Activate Workflow means your buyer has approved your catalog

1. After clicking on Supplier Workflow Id, click on Import 2. Click on the link to access your catalog file

41 How to upload attachments
Click on Upload Supplemental Files to upload attachments like photos and other supplementary documents

42 How to upload attachments
1. Choose the files that will be uploaded as attachments. Don’t forget to put them in zip files. The Zip file should not contain any sub-folders 2. Click on upload

44 Tips to avoid errors Don’t forget to fill out tabs and fields in red, particularly in the Products/Catalog fields For single tab templates, make sure that the first tab seen is the catalog tab For multi tab templates, make sure that the first tab is the header tab Make sure to select the right template format Please consult the customer specific tab of your template
