PW: bookflix Monday– Read your fluency folder pages: 10& 11 and Week 6 Story “Three Kittens Learn” (time for one minute) and answer questions on the back; Write spelling words three times each. Math: p.Week 16. Bring homework to school everyday. Practice HIGH FREQUENCY WORD list. Tuesday– Read your fluency folder Pages: 10& 11 and Week 6 Story “Three Kittens Learn” (time for one minute) and answer questions on the back; Write spelling words three times each. Math: p.Week 16. Bring homework to school everyday. Write spelling words in ABC order. Practice High frequency word list. Wednesday- Read your fluency folder Pages: 10& 11 and Week 6 Story “Three Kittens Learn” (time for one minute) and answer questions on the back; Write spelling words three times each. Math: p.Week 16. Bring homework to school everyday. Write a sentence for all spelling words. Practice High Frequency Word list. Thursday- Read your fluency folder Pages: 10& 11 and Week 6 Story “Three Kittens Learn” (time for one minute) and answer questions on the back; Write spelling words three times each. Math: p.Week 16. Bring homework to school everyday. Ask parents to give you a practice spelling test. Practice the ones you missed. Write a sentence for all your vocabulary words. Read High Frequency words everyday. Friday-Tests on story of the week, spelling words, vocabulary words. I will send the tests on Friday. Please sign and return them. If you don’t get them, please write me a note in the agenda. Language Arts – Fiction & Non fiction, characters, setting, plot, Problem and solution, Parts of a book-glossary, table of contents, past tense endings, declarative and interrogative sentences, prepositions, plural nouns, author’s purpose. Math- Fractions. Science – Natural Resources natural vs. manmade Social Studies – National celebrations. Spelling Words Pattern: R-controlled ea, ee Clean, mean, bean, teen, been, lean, seen, team, beam, meat, sheet, cheat, feel, meal, beat, defeat, heel, seal, teal, please, pleased Vocabulary Words Distant: Far away. Familiar: To know or remember something or someone. Bonus: Extra points or money. Furniture: tables, beds, sofas, desks, chairs. Fragile: Something can break very easy like an egg or glass. Discard: To throw away. Tremble: to shake. Achieve: Accomplish. To do a great job. Terrible: awful, bad. December Christmas Concert: Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 5pm. My students will report to my classroom at 4:45pm. For safety reasosn, students will be dismissed one by one after the concert. Dec 18 through Dec Jan 2, Students return Wednesday, Jan 3, Please no absences. Thank you for sending them to school every day!
