Gr.12s & Community Service Bursary

Important Dates You can continue to collect hours until June 30 of grade 12. You must have all hours and your final form submitted by Sept. 30. If you want it read at graduation that you took part in the program you should ensure you register ASAP. In the event that you are taking a gap year (a year off) you need to contact the Community Service Bursary Program to ask for them to hold the money for a year. The contact info is on the website. The money will enter your Post-Secondary School account in November. NOTE: The only information TOSH will have is: Sometime in June we will receive a list of who registered The hours you collected through school if they were submitted (it is your responsibility to check with your advisor) NOTE: This means you will have to contact CSB directly for questions.

What?!?! It is NOT too late if you have been volunteering. Google: Community Service Bursary PEI to find where items need to be submitted. Hours can count from the completion of Grade 9 until June 30 of your Grade 12 year. Complete hours and receive a bursary valued at $5/hr (30 hrs = $150 and 150 hrs = $750).

What Forms? They are all online.
You fill in two (note that they are in the same place so one appears to be hiding!) You should work with each organization you work with to help them fill in the online form for submitting hours. HINTS: They are used to a paper form that is no longer on the website so… It may be best to sit with them and fill in the online form They need your name, total hours, and year of graduation (the online form is easy)
