This webinar provided an overview of the administrative and financial requirements as prescribed by WIOA and the Uniform Guidance. In addition, this webinar provided specific administrative and financial requirements as specified by YouthBuild WIOA regulations at 2 CFR Part The intent of this webinar was to train external grant fiscal staff who recently received a YouthBuild grant from DOLETA.
The first part of the webinar contained a general overview of the administrative requirement for internal controls, policies and procedures, and sound management practices. Next was on subpart E, Cost Principles, of the Uniform Guidance and the standards that affect cost allowability, prior written approval, and cost allocation. The webinar also spoke on costs that are specific to the YouthBuild program.
The next section focused on Match and Leveraged Resources, with information on leveraged resources and how it differs from match, as well as the closeout process and what it means to have unmet match and leveraged resources. Lastly, the webinar went over reporting requirements for recipient share.
The last part of the webinar discussed common issues identified by monitoring reports at YouthBuild grants as well as links to additional tools and resources found on various webpages.
