3 TWRN TWRN and SNA

4 TWRN and SNA TWRN Overall TWRN Network
The network includes 128 individuals with active connections A total of 441 ties An average 3.8 ties per node. 99 are academic researcher and 29 are non-academic. The size of each network node (individual researcher, practitioner, or policy influencer) represents a measure of network centrality.

5 TWRN and SNA TWRN Climate Science Group
23 individuals (nodes) with active connections (19 academic and 4 non-academic). Total of 22 ties between nodes within the climate research group, for an average of 0.95 ties per actor. There are an additional 58 ties between individuals in the climate group and individuals in other research groups. In this research group, very few non-academic (blue) nodes are present. The size of each network node (individual researcher, practitioner, or policy influencer) represents a measure of network centrality.

6 TWRN and SNA TWRN Scenario Science Group
8 individuals with active connections (7 academic and 1 non-academic). There are zero ties between nodes within the scenario building research group (note: there are no star to star connections). There are 26 ties between individuals in the scenario group and individuals in other research groups. Nodes in this group have very low centrality relatively to nodes in other research groups (small size of stars) The size of each network node (individual researcher, practitioner, or policy influencer) represents a measure of network centrality.

7 TWRN and SNA TWRN Stakeholder Science Group
28 individuals with active connections (16 academic and 12 non-academic). A total of 51 ties between stakeholder science researchers for an average of ties per actor. An additional 57 ties between individuals in the stakeholder science group and individuals in other research groups. Stakeholder science nodes are relatively central to the network (size of diamonds), and include a good mix of academic and non-academic nodes. The size of each network node (individual researcher, practitioner, or policy influencer) represents a measure of network centrality.

8 TWRN and SNA TWRN Water Science Group
Includes 69 individuals with active connections (57 academic and 12 non-academic). A total of 135 ties between water science researchers for an average of 1.95 ties per actor. There are an additional 92 ties between individuals in the water science group and individuals in other research groups. The size of each network node (individual researcher, practitioner, or policy influencer) represents a measure of network centrality.
