2. Background #1 Korea has the wrong policy on migrant workers
- Korean gov’t regrad migrant workers as workforce not socierty members.
- for instance, limitation on period of service and transfer, denying accompany family
Demand for migrant workers has been increasing dramatically
- 03’s : 680,000 person ’s : 1,490,000 person
- Because of low birth rates, a decrease in productive population, tendency avoiding 3D industrial

3. Background #2
The training program for migrant workers is very incomplete.
- Migrant workers are in troubles Lack of understanding of the Korea Culture and essential labor rights.
Many Koreans have a misconception about the migrant workers
- All migrant workers are illegal immigrants?
- Migrant workers are depriving native workers' jobs?

4. Target group & Objectives
- Provide MWs and Koreans with Good Education Program

Better understanding of the Korea Culture
Understanding the Korea Labor Relations Act
To Koreans
To Dispel misconceptions about migrant workers

5. Activities Invite migrant workers in union events.
- Invite marathon festival in May Day, To held an athletics meeting regulary.
- We may also use this place as a place to introduce the union
To use FKTU’s 16 Regional offices
- operation of establishment Migrant support center
- The introduction of labor education program for migrant workers.

6. Activities
The introduction of migrant workers and multiculturalism to the public .
- Conduct the campaign with NGO : To ensure that labor rights and Multi-cultural be included in compulsory education(elementary and middle schoole) system.
