3. SPA Membership Our renewal period is January of each year. Pilots that have not renewed their membership by the end of April will be moved to inactive status. See Ed after the meeting to renew your membership Your membership helps support the following: Promote aviation in Spartanburg County Promote aviation safety Provide aviation education Further interests in aviation

Key Dates for volunteers to get involved: Sunday April 20th at 5:30 pm at KSPA Sunday April 27th at 5:30 pm at KSPA Friday May 2nd at 9:00 am at KSPA = Setup Day There may be other meetings leading up to Saturday May 3rd. Official sponsor for the event is the Spartanburg Humane Society. The Spartanburg Pilots Association (SPA) providing tactical support and manpower for insure safety

7. Overall Agenda Spartanburg Humane Society will have rescued animals here for adoption, and to promote the Society Event has moved from East Ramp to West Ramp in front of A-Hangar. Spartanburg Humane Society, Pilots-for-Paws, Pet Smart and other exhibits will be set up in A Hangar. = Need Volunteers to help to setup SPA info table = Need Volunteers to help

8. Overall Agenda PA system will be provided and coordinated by Jim Colburn = Need Volunteers to help setup. Tent for those awaiting rides will be provided= Need Volunteers to help setup Traffic cones will be supplied by the city = Need Volunteers to help to setup Airport Event Staff t-shirts = Need Volunteers to monitor and patrol areas for safety Adam will be offering flights over the city =Need Volunteers to help people sign up

Overall Agenda JAARS will be offering Helicopter flights around airport= Need Volunteers to help people sign up & to and from Helipad and FBO FBO will have Airport History books for sale Homes Hot dogs will have a vendor truck on airport PJS will have a vendor truck on airport EMS presence & Fire-truck – Jason Merchant

10. Overall Agenda Parachute Jump Team for 11am and 2pm jumps will be coordinated by Ron Fenner. Need Volunteers to help? Ultra-Light fly by and display will be coordinated by Ron Fenner. Need Volunteers to help? AWOS notification and NOTAM will be coordinated by Adam. Social Flight notification by Phil Israel. SC Aviation Association notification by Ed.

11. Overall Agenda Active Airport Operations signage setup = Need Volunteers to help Golf-carts available – Jim and Ed Glider club display coordinated by Philip Neumann Joe Sessoms as MC on PA.

Overall Agenda Event photographer – Phil Aircraft & Gyrocopter display/exhibition in front of hanger B: Radio Controlled aircraft display/exhibition – Phil Midway BBQ will provide the evening meal at a cost of $10.00 per plate. = Meals will be available only to those who purchase a ticket. KSPA-FBO will have tickets for sale.
