1. Wassergasse 47, St. Gallen Tellstrasse 2 to Wassergasse 47
Go to the train station, where you can also buy bus tickets. Just exit the building, go down to the main road (Rosenbergstrasse) and turn right. Walk until you reach an underpass, this will take you to the train station. From there, (see map), cross the place in front of the main station.
Walk along the shopping centre “Neumarkt” till you reach the “Teufener Strasse”. Walk up the “Teufener Strasse” to the house no. 11, turn left and walk along the “Kruggasse”. At the end of this street you stand in front of the house “Wassergasse 47”.

Getting to the city centre / to the train station and back
To get to the train station, just walk back to the main station or walk up to the bus stop “Oberstrasse” and take bus 7 or 8. Both of them take you to the train station. The quickest way to get to the city centre (Marktplatz) from the train station is either on foot (about 6 minute walk) or by bus. The majority of buses stop at the Marktplatz, e.g. bus no. 1 (direction “Stephanshorn”), bus no. 2 (direction “Guggeien”), bus no. 3 and 6 (direction “Heiligkreuz”), bus no. 4 (direction “Wittenbach Bahnhof”) bus no. 7 and 8 (direction “Neudorf”).
Getting to the university and back
From the main station the bus no. 5 (direction Rotmonten) or no. 9 (direction Schuppis Nord) takes you directly to the university. Just get off at the stop “Uni/Dufourstrasse” or “Uni Gatterstrasse”. From both bus stops it is an
approximate 250/300 m walk to the university.
