3 Purpose COOL (Credentialing Opportunities On-Line) helps service members with information on certifications and licenses related to their jobs and civilian employment.

4 Standard COOL provides members with detailed information on:
Credentials related to their jobs such as Marine Corps and Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), Navy Rating, collateral-duty/out of rating assignment, or designator. Credential requirements and potential gaps between training and civilian credentialing requirements.

5 Standard cont. Resources available to fill gaps between the military training civilian credentialing requirements. How to get a COOL funded voucher to pay for credential exam and maintenance fees Explore financial assistance

6 Standard cont. 99% of Navy jobs have credentialing available.
Sailors must have a minimum of six months remaining in service at the time of certification request. There is no cap on Navy COOL. 60 days to use approved vouchers, 90 days to submit completed vouchers or the member will be billed.

7 Standard cont. Marine Corps and Air Force COOL allows COOL to be utilized by enlisted and Warrant Officers. Air Force COOL funding will not exceed a maximum of $4,500 per lifetime per airman.
