Burt Bacharach
born 12 May 1928
Burt Bacharach is an American singer, songwriter and composer with has won three Oscars and six Grammy Awards for his music.
He is best known for writing pop songs in the 1950s and 1960s with lyricist Hal David but still writes music today.
His most famous songs include ‘I Say a Little Prayer’, ‘Walk on By’, ‘Arthur’s Theme’ and ‘The Look of Love’.
