Classroom News for the week of September 24-28, 2018
What we’re learning:
Reminders:
Happy Monday! I am still in disbelief at how fast time is flying by! I am so proud of all my students and I'm amazed at the learning that has taken place!
Word Study: This week we will continue our study of vowel teams. We will be focusing on words with long o digraphs such as oa, ow, oe.
Reading: We will be working on asking and answering questions to help identify key details in a non-fiction text.
Math: We will be moving on to Module 3 this week which focuses on place value. Students will expand their skills and understanding of units by bundling ones, tens, and hundreds.
Writing: We will be working on starting our expository writing piece this week.
Just a reminder... Our PE day has been changed to Friday. Please remember to wear tennis shoes that day!
