The video that plays in the left block is an embedded WMV file—no external file.
The video is much longer than the part that plays here; it has been trimmed within PowerPoint.
It has also been “bookmarked” – six places within the video have been identified and defined.
The screen images in the right block are each set to appear when the video reaches the specified bookmark. This is much cleaner and safer than carefully timing out the video and hoping the screen image appears at the right time. Furthermore, the video can be paused at will (note the playback controls that appear when you hover), and when paused, the sequenced screen images will also wait for their cues.
