3 Important Senior Meeting Thursday, April 18th in the GYM
Students who normally leave after 3rd period, should remain and attend the meeting during A/B blocks, if possible. Students who leave after 4th period, should attend the meeting held during A/B blocks. Academy students returning at 11:55 should eat C lunch and then report to the gym for the meeting during D/E blocks. Students who eat C or D lunch  should attend the meeting during A/B blocks. Students who eat A or B lunch should attend the meeting during D/E blocks.

4 YEARBOOKS If you purchased a yearbook, please check the list around the corner from the commons (cross hall section) for your name!

5 There will be tutoring offered in April and May for Milestones.

6 Attention Seniors: Friday May 3rd at 3:15 pm is the last day to submit scholarship offers to Mrs. Watts in the counseling office. Scholarships received after May 3rd will not be included in the graduation program.

ORDER FORM… Order one or more personalized graduation sign(s) for your special senior today! These black, grey and maroon signs are 18” x 24” with printing on one or both sides. The cost of each sign includes yard stand. Make checks payable to Union Grove High School & return with this order form to front office or room 404. Orders can be placed beginning March 26th . Most signs will be ready for delivery about days after order. An “incoming first year student” AND be Jamaican OR of Jamaican parentage Hold a minimum of 3.5 Grade Point Average or equivalent. Provide proof of college acceptance. Are you interested in pursuing a career in Agriculture and would like a scholarship to do so? Apply online at for a chance to win a scholarship. The scholarship amount has increased to $2,400. The State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program and The Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys, in partnership with Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School present the HIGH SCHOOL PIPELINE PROGRAM “A Unique Opportunity for Diverse Students to Prepare for College and Law School” June 11 – 21, 2019 (not including weekends) Application for Admission This program is free of charge but space is limited to 22 students. To apply you must be a minority female high school junior or senior in Henry County School. You must demonstrate financial need for the scholarship and have a 2.7 or higher GPA. 33 LIVELIKEALYSSA College/Technical School Scholarship
The Live Like Alyssa Foundation is pleased to announce they will be giving $2,000 scholarships to Henry County Students who meet the requirements below. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2019. This scholarship is designed for a student with a solid academic record who has a disability. Requirements for the scholarship: 1. The student has a disability and has an IEP. 2. The student is a senior and attends a Henry or Newton County public school. 3. The student has a solid academic record (GPA of 2.5 or higher) 4. Please create a short video of 2-3 minutes describing your academic and career goals. Discuss your struggles and how you have strived to overcome them.
