Impact of emissions from coal-fired power plants in India on health

I represent the Indian School of Business. In order to estimate the health burden attributable to coal in India, we first use the 2013 IIT-B emissions inventory and GEOS-FP 2015 to run the GEOS-Chem simulation model on Amazon Web Services on two case scenarios: one with thermal power plants and the other without thermal power plants. Once the simulation is complete, we will be estimating the population exposure to coal to calculate the health burden following the Global Burden of Disease study.
