Recognize that a mother’s trust in Christ for salvation enables her to make decisions with the help of the Holy Spirit
Emphasize each aspect of these distinctives as they relate to your approach for center service. This is a good time to show your team the most typical path(s) that clients take through their center, and your experiences in sharing the gospel at each of the points where a client receives services.
To equip you to share the gospel clearly and simply in the context of your client’s situation
To help “train your ear” so you will be able to hear the links that let you turn a conversation to spiritual topics and then to the gospel. We’re hoping that at the end of this session you’ll see that there REALLY ARE links in a conversation that you can use to lead the conversation to spiritual things. You’ll use this skill not only in the center, but anywhere you want to share the gospel.
Use online training to continue to train your ear even more by going back and listening to the online training from time to time. Just intentionally begin to listen to conversations at home, at work, at church, and in the center and identify some opportunities you could have used to lead a person into a spiritual discussion. You’ll be surprised at how many you hear! You’ll find it easier to share the gospel than you ever thought because the Holy Spirit will use those conversations!

4. You Have a Great Helper
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever, that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.” John 14:16-17
Have the attendees read this scripture aloud together.
The Holy Spirit is in control of what happens when we share the gospel. As you took the ACT training you saw that sometimes we sow seeds, sometimes we cultivate seeds someone else has sown, and sometimes we are privileged to harvest. No matter which role we play, we should know that the Father is glorified as we give glory to His Son. The Holy Spirit is responsible for conversion.

If you use additional, or other materials from EvanTell, you may want to distribute a copy of each of the materials you use to your team as you discuss where you will be using them in the center. We suggest that you have new volunteers take SMSC Online Training PRIOR TO INSERVICE training, so that they will understand the terminology you use in your courses.
All of you can be prepared to share the gospel whenever the Holy Spirit provides the opportunity – no matter where the client is in the center.

13. Discussing the role play in your SMSC online training…
Role play is not LIFE!
Note how to transition the conversation from secular to spiritual to the gospel
Note there are both good and not-so- good examples of conversations
LISTEN to what the volunteer asks
LISTEN to the client answers
Think about what the volunteer does in response!
From time to time on our SMSC site we may post role play scripts that you might want to use
Role play is not life. EvanTell used actors and scripts in the SMSC training to focus on specific things to hear, to do, or NOT to do. We’ll discuss three of these today – a woman who thinks she is a Christian already, a woman who has had a previous abortion, and a woman who has a non-Christian faith tradition (or the instructor’s choice)
We’ll discuss these so, listen carefully to what the volunteers asks and what the client answers. How is the volunteer getting to the point where she can lead to the spiritual topic? How is she getting to the gospel presentation?
