Progress status of the Central TB Division 2 PLANNED ACTIVITY PROGRESS STATUS Procurement of Second Line Drugs Order placed and delivery has been completed Order placed and delivery will begin from April 2019 Procurement of CBNAAT Cartridges Order placed and delivery will begin from June 2019 Procurement of 123 Digital X-ray Machines Technical Specification has been finalized and Issuance of PO is under progress Strengthening of RNTCP Supply Chain Management Request for Proposal has issued and Three agencies are shortlisted. DRTB Patient Incentive Support The scheme is started from April 2018, Establishment of NPMU Approved and positions advertised through NHSRC Transition of WHO TSN Successfully transited from Jan 2019 onwards Procurement of CBNAAT 250 Machines Communication Sent to Global Fund for allowing Procurement of TrueNat Financial Progress Out of USD 54,242,564 Global Fund Grant Budget for the period from Jan to Sept 2018, USD 40,802,922 expenditure reported (75%) Technical Progress 85% of the Indicator targets results are achieved

Allocated USD 3.4 Million Memorandum of Agreement Signed The main object is to cover the following Five Operational Research Estimation of the proportion of Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) among TB patients who fail RNTCP treatment. Death Audit: Strengthening mechanisms for TB deaths reporting under the programme Effectiveness of 12 dose Rifapentine Sentinel Surveillance for measuring the TB Burden and trends in High Risk Group for TB. Follow-up of Child contacts of TB patients till they attain adulthood: Do they develop TB? All the Five Operational Study Protocols have been approved by the Global Fund ICMR processed for Ethical approval of the study.

Allocated USD 4.6 Million Memorandum of Agreement Signed The Main Objective of the Project: DRTB Patient Counselling Services, To improve treatment adherence among MDR and XDR patients through counselling and by linking them with required social protection services. Geographic Coverage: Four States ( Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka & Rajasthan) Financial Progress - As on 31st Dec 2018 – 73% has been utilised Technical Progress:- Most of the Technical Indicators target has been achieved.

Allocated USD 0.37 Million Memorandum of Agreement Signed The Main Objective of the Project: Active Case Finding in Key Population Area Geographic Coverage: Sundarbans Financial Progress - As on 31st Dec 2018 – 66% has been utilised Technical Progress:- All the Technical Indicators targets have been achieved.
