Primary focus is to provide a forum for discussion, development and rapid dissemination of technical information relevant to aerospace control and guidance systems technologies including adaptive control concepts; advanced vehicle concepts and related guidance, control, and dynamics issues, NextGen air traffic control; integration of UAS in the National Air Space; autonomy; and others. Strategic initiatives include conducting a single day short course on a related guidance and control topic. Introduced a lecture series aimed at attracting young university and/or industry researcher participation in the committee.
