2. Every year, on the 31th October, we celebrate La Castanyada, the Chestnut Festival.
On that day, all children and teachers from the school gather to eat toasted chestnuts together.
Here you can see edible chestnuts.
We pick them up in the woods

3. To taste good, the chestnuts might be toasted in a toaster like that one.

4. They are ready to be eaten.

5. “”Old people living in the woods”” (actually our elder pupils from 6th grade)give chestnuts
to children.

11. This bottle is called Porró. It’s traditional from Catalonia.
On Chestnuts Festival’s Day, children are served grape juice from it.
