Create a Company Groups will “create a company”. As a team you will need to determine what your new company is/does and detail how you are going to realize this goal. Each group will need one piece of paper on which to take “group notes”. You will have 20 minutes to outline what was needed to make this dream a reality.

Your College, Your Success
An estimated 20.2 million students attended American colleges and universities in fall 2015. This year, colleges and universities are expected to award 952,000 associate’s degrees, 1.8 million bachelor’s degrees, 802,000 master’s degrees, and 179,000 doctor’s degrees. A college education has more return on investment for a graduate in the United States than in any other nation.

Assignment – Scavenger Hunt
Brainstorm all the places that are important for new students to know about Students will get into groups of 3 and come up with a list of the top 10 places on campus that a new student needs to know (do not include the bathrooms) Groups will find and take a picture of each of those 10 places 2 students have to physically be in each picture (that way they when you go to each of the 10 places – 2 in the picture, 1 taking the picture – or all 3 in a selfie!) If a group chooses the police station you make take a picture of the parking lot call boxes instead of walking all the way out there For the next class period the group has to show their 10 pictures in a very basic PowerPoint or Prezi to the class and explain each place. You can include what/who you took a picture of, hours it opens/closes, and/or any other important information about your photo the class should know. For example, if I took a picture of the library, your group should include when it opens/closes as well as what services the library offers for students.
