1. But you God meet up with the real me.
On Monday I go to work or school and meet with colleagues or fellow students.
But you God meet up with the real me.
On Tuesday I do my share of the household chores. My family see my grumpiness and bad habits.
But you, God, see and know me as I really am.

2. But you, God, know what is on my mind as I do ordinary things.
On Wednesday I go shopping. Others see me as just another supermarket shopper.
But you, God, know what is on my mind as I do ordinary things.
On Thursday I go on a journey. Other passengers or drivers see me as just another traveller.
But you, God, know whether my mind is on what I am doing.
On Friday I go to the club. I meet up with my mates and we enjoy playing, talking and eating together.
But you, God, are the friend I can talk to absolutely confidentially.

3. On Saturday I relax with my family. They are the closest people to me.
But they are not as close as you, God.
On Sunday I come to church to worship.
When you look into my heart, God, may you see a person who loves you and wants to do your will!
