6. How Did Jeff Become a Puppeteer
He began performing for audiences as a teenager in many schools, churches, and even Six Flags. Jeff's television debut came in 1976, when he caught the attention of some of the Dallas reporters, who interviewed him for local news stories. He later did many commercials while still in high school. Then he attended Baylor University and performed all around campus. During the weekends he had up to 100 private shows per year. Jeff was making $70,000 a year and lots of people laugh!
