My state became a state on November 16, 1907.

3 Oklahoma’s state bird is the scissor-tailed flycatcher
Oklahoma’s state bird is the scissor-tailed flycatcher. The state flower is the mistletoe flower.

4 The state tree is the Redbud, and Oklahoma’s state nickname is the Sooner State. The states number of colleges is 48.

5 One famous person from Oklahoma is Steve Largent
One famous person from Oklahoma is Steve Largent. Largent was a wide receiver. Steve was inducted in 1995.

6 Another famous athlete that was from Oklahoma was Dan Hampton
Another famous athlete that was from Oklahoma was Dan Hampton. Hampton was a tackle defense, and he was inducted in 2002.

7 My favorite college is the University of Oklahoma
My favorite college is the University of Oklahoma. I like this state because they ranked first in the whole United States in basketball. Another reason I like this state is because you receive $47,900 when you graduate.

One cool thing you can do in Oklahoma is eat colored corn. The corn is dyed in many different colors. Another cool/fun thing to do in Oklahoma is visit the lego/action figure museum.

I also know that, for fun, you can go to the Blue whale of Catoosa. A massive fort with a whale’s mouth as an entrance! You can also go to a place called “Fort Lob Lake State Park”-seek something called the flaming lips.

Another thing that is fun in Oklahoma is eat root beer pudding. I also know that one fun thing to do in Oklahoma is visit the sixty-six foot bottle arcade!
