Very useful for service development/ service re-design and shared responsibility for sustainability of the work
Lead them and treat them as a development partner – a co-creator
The What partner is excited about the what it is all about.
Useful for project management and service implementation. Can be very grounding and grounded partners.
Cross reference to the definition of leadership being about the why, management about the what and admin about the how/who/when.
This diagram is developed as a way of illustrating what we have all been learning on a Partnership development programme we, me and joette, have been consulting to and supporting during 2011 with a group of organisations over 6 months.
The How partners can contribute on how it is achieved.
Manage them, more like a sub-contracting relationship
Happy to contribute to tasks but not likely to take co-ownership or initiative
