7 Numbers 14:1-21 Outline: Flood of Fear: - Blaming Moses.
- Blaming God. The rebuttal of Moses & the spies: - Call to repentance. - Voice of triumph! - Identification of fear. The threat of murder – the appearance of God:

8 Godly Decision Making Joshua & Caleb: - Faith v. fear.
- Standing alone v. the crowd. Moses, the shepherd: - Vengeance v. forgiveness. - his glory v. God’s glory. The gracious LORD: - Justice v. Mercy. - God’s unchangeable earthly glory plan.

9 Moses’ plea w/ God – again!
God’s fame: - He can’t disassociate from Israel. - He just judged the God’s of Egypt. God’s integrity: - God is too weak to keep His promises. - God trying to hide His weakness. God’s greater glory: - Practice what you preach (Exodus 34)! - So far so good, keep going in grace!

10 Some Principles for Us . . . God is gracious, but . . .
There is a limit to God’s patience. God will keep His promises to the nation: However, individuals may suffer and die. God will ultimately fulfill His earthly glory plan. God is gracious, faithful and true!
