GMS has continued to pursue fiscally responsible activities as detailed on the previous slides
We partner with IBM’s and GF’s Technical Vitality Councils to jointly sponsor Section speakers
The PES Chapter is also vibrant with their PDH trainings and numerous chapter events
This year, we also helped sponsor the NATW 2018 held at The Essex in Essex Junction, VT
We expect to get our full sponsorship monies back plus some profit
We have been asked to fully sponsor next year’s NATW
GMS leadership will be asking for advice on this, particularly if there could be losses
The GMS Executive Committee meets monthly, usually via teleconferences
Each meeting has a full Treasurer’s Report to closely monitor any financial transactions
Our motivated officers and committee members have been working hard to expand our Webpage, Facebook presence and recording all meetings in vTools. I as Chair would like to formally thank all who have worked so hard to keep our chapter going this year.
