Dates to Remember
Its amazing how fast this school year is going. These next few weeks are critical to our students success.
We will be completing our end of the year testing in I –Ready and DRA for reading.
Please make sure that as the weather gets nicer your child is getting enough rest and that you are completing the homework nightly and filling out the reading log.

Reminders
Please remember that we do not celebrate birthday parties in classrooms. All birthday parties will be held at the end of our lunch person between 10:33-11:05. Please only bring store bought desserts.
Please remember to send a weather appropriate change of clothes in your child's backpack!.
Spend a few minutes each day reviewing sight words and practicing reading strategies.
Search for letters/words in books and magazines and use them to write sentences.
Have your child practice writing by stretching out words- do not tell them how to spell words!
