6 Scene Stealing Story time AKA Hamming (over-acting)
Purposefully (or even without thinking) taking attention away from the focus of the scene Story time As an actor, you must understand where the focus of each scene is supposed to be, and help draw the audience’s attention towards it, not towards yourself.

7 Character-Centered Stories
A chronological look at the lives of one or more characters and the situations they go through. Anything on-going (sequels, soap operas, reality shows, etc.) or continuous.

8 Situation-Centered Stories
A look at the way the same event/ situation is approached differently by the different personalities of the characters. There is not necessarily a connection to the previous episode. (sit-coms)

9 How your voice works It’s all about air. More sound volume requires more air.

Groups of 2 or 3 Together, think of a situation (appropriate) Each person plays a character with a different personality Come up with a story (beginning, middle and end) where each of your characters reacts differently to the same situation Think about spontaneity and where the focus of the scene should be Remember articulation and projection Rehearse and then perform
