2. Pacific Lamprey (Lampetra tridentata)
Pacific Lamprey has been declining in numbers. This is alarming to the tribes of the Columbia River basin as Lamprey are among their staple first foods and are considered to be sacred like the Salmon. The tribes have harvested Lamprey since time immemorial and legends and stories of the Lamprey have been passed down for many generations, over thousands of years.

To establish a documented history of Macrpthalmia in the estuary
To test the ability to predict habitat opportunity, using CMOP models and criteria for favorable Lamprey habitat
