The SWISS Family ?? ?? AA aa The genotype of an individual determines the phenotype. For the antennae and the nose, the alleles which code for the traits are incomplete dominant. The parents of F2-generation are homozygous dominant (AA) and homozygous recessive (aa), hence producing offspring in F3-generation (Aa), which have 2 antennae. The parents of F2-generation are homozygous dominant (QQ) and homozygous recessive (qq), hence producing offspring in F3-generation (Qq), which have orange nose. For the number of body parts, both parents in F2-generation are heterozygous (Dd). They produce offspring which may be (DD), (Dd) or (dd). Thus, F3-generation are (DD) and (dd).
