Dan and huge inequalities in Plymouth This is our Thrive Plymouth Windmill which summarises the theory behind Thrive Plymouth - indicating how we want the city to be a place where people drink safely, eat healthily, are active and are smoke free. This are the behaviour change goals. But we know that people’s mental wellbeing and physical health are closely intertwined, which is why for Year 4 we have decided to focus on mental health and wellbeing. Having stronger mental wellbeing means people are more likely to make healthy choices, and vice versa. If we can become a city where the choices which influence these behaviours are made easier for people we will see a difference in the number of people dying from avoidable illnesses in the city. That will make Plymouth a better place for us all to live.
