2 Fig 1 Basal cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cyclic GMP) production rates, indicated as fmol/cm2 per time unit, of the internal mammary artery (IMA) and right gastroepiploic artery (RGEA) were higher than production rates of saphenous vein (SV). Atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) stimulation led to a statistically significant increase of cyclic guanosine monophosphate release in internal mammary artery grafts, whereas right gastroepiploic artery and saphenous vein remained at basal levels (p = for within-graft effects, p = for between-graft effects by analysis of variance for repeated measures).
