Ref Internship Research & Development Advanced Technology Division Internship topic: Advanced Research on Magnetic Materials Our team: The Advanced Technology 1 division in Toyota Motor Europe is responsible for advanced research on functional materials like catalyst, magnetic materials, battery for clean energy. We aim at transferring and integrating European unique and advanced technology into the final product for future breakthrough. Your project: Magnetic materials ; material research & development -magnetic nanomaterial synthesis, analysis and evaluation -grain boundary and magnetic spin alignment mechanism analysis -novel permanent magnets research Your assets: -Finishing or finished within last year Masters or equivalent degree in Chemistry or Material Science or Nanoscience -Good knowledge of magnetic nanoparticles/ nanoparticles synthesis and analysis (XRD,TEM, AFM, or VSM, SQUID...) -Good communication, friendly and proactive -Hands-on mentality -Computer skills : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Technique specific softwares -Fluent in English is a must Place of internship: Toyota Motor Europe (Brussels-Zaventem) Starting date: can be discussed Duration: 6 months Confidentiality: Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report.
