After my little bit of fun with the Giant, mum and I decided to go on holiday. Mum says that it is important that we save what we have left and make sure that we dont get into debt, but I dont really know what that means. We are living in this village in Ghana and working with the people. They do not have much money either and they have to think very carefully about how they spend the money they do have. Many of them grow cocoa beans on their small farms. They sell it to people who work for the Fair Trade organisation because they get a good price there, but they still dont have much money left for luxuries. It has made me start to think about how I have been spending my money and that I must decide the difference between what I need and what I want.
