Promoting educational excellence, Awarding scholarships, And enhancing career opportunities for the nation’s top Career and Technical Education students. The National Technical Honor Society is dedicated to honoring student achievement and leadership, promoting educational excellence, awarding scholarships, and enhancing career opportunities for the nation’s top Career and Technical Education students in both secondary and post-secondary schools.

Since 1984, our organization has been the nation’s leader in honoring students who are committed to a occupational pathway in Career and Technical Education, or “CTE.” There are over 100 different programs recognized as CTE… everything from agriculture to website development, and as technology advances, opportunities are ever growing.
4
We serve over 4,000 schools, including high schools, career tech centers, colleges, and private institutions. We have chapters all across the country, in all 50 states as well as in most all of the U.S territories.
5
NTHS membership is an important milestone… one that offers lifetime benefits. It is our belief that CTE students must be supported and encouraged to seek higher education in today’s highly competitive global community.
