3 PRACTISES OF TEACHING THE FREESTYLE
TEACHING THE SWIMMING PRACTISES OF TEACHING THE FREESTYLE

4 THE PURPOSE OF THE EXERCISES
Help the balance and the control of body Helping to learn more about swimming techniques The swimmer has to learn the automated execution of the moves Provide solutions so they can correct their mistakes Swimmers that take part in races must do perfect the technique

5 TEACHING SUBJECTS OF FREESTYLE
Body position – Breathing Kicking feet at freestyle swimming with and without board and adjustment the feet Moving hand at freestyle swimming (inside and outside of the water) Hand – breathing and hand – foot synchronization Exercises to correct the hands Exercises to correct the whole style

6 THE BREATH AT FREESTYLE
Purpose To isolate breathing function to freestyle Warning points The eyes has to be high and below of the water Do not look down at the bottom of the pool Rolling the body for breathing and not turning the neck Checking the position of the head Look along the surface of the pool during the exhalation

7 CONTROLLED FREESTYLE WITH ONE HAND
The purpose To isolate and focus on the proper technique of the freestyle with one hand and synchronized the hand with breathing Warning points Kicking feet in a stable rhythm Concentration in each stage (restoration, pulling, entry, breathing, rolling)

8 PRE-EXERCISE, BREATHING, ROLLING, HANDS
Purpose Correct the right position of the head and move directly from side to side Practice the rolling at freestyle Practice pulling and hand restoring Exercise to right positions of the body at freestyle

9 WARNING POINTS Stretched hand, head in breathing position, the body in roll position, kicking feet for six times Restart the hand and stay with the head in the water for another six times Repeat on the other side Pausing times decrease progressively from 6 to 4 to 3 to 2 times

10 CHANGES OF HAND EVERY 4-6 FEET
The purpose Exercise body and head position by strengthening the feet Warning points At the pause , one hand is very stretched in front of a rolling position while the other touches the hips The feet never kicks just vertically but laterally too

11 FREESTYLE HANDS AND RESTORE BELOW THE WATER
PURPOSE The practice of pulling the hand and slipping into a hydrodynamic position Warning points Hands are moving in rhythm. Pause after 2-3 tones after each change At the pause feet move constantly and the body in the right position slides forward rapidly

12 METHODOLOGY OF EXERCISES AT FREESTYLE
Demonstration – exercise out of the water Exercise into the water holding the poll wall Exercise with help (plank, fins etc.) Exercise without help

13 EXAMPLE OF THE EXERCISES
Teaching to learn the breathing at the side Exercise out of water One hand rests on the wall (exhale-breath with turning head) Exercise into the water One hand on the wall, feet to the wall Exercise by hitting feet on the wall One hand on the wall , feet are kicking Exercise with help One hand holds the plank, feet are kicking Exercise without plank One hand stretched forward, feet are kicking

14 TECHNIQUE OF MOVEMENT KEY POINTS
Feet kicking Right position into the water Breathing Turning Rhythm

15 MISTAKES IN TECHNICAL FOOT KICKING
Flexibility Big range of motion Kicking feet out of the water Wrong head and body position Move of the foot down the knee

16 TRAINING EXAMPLE Warm-up Freestyle swimming training Cool down
Distance swimming depending on the fitness level of each person Freestyle swimming training Exercises with plank and the body in the prone position to improve the technique and to strengthen the feet Exercises to improve the technique and to strengthen the arms and to improve breathing Swim 50 meters at a fast rhythm to improve speed Swimming 100 and 200 meters to improve resistance Cool down Swimming at a very low rhythm for relaxation

17 SWIMMING AND AUTISM AND MENTAL DISORDERS «Water does not know your age and your difficulties» Dara Torres

18 WATER EXERCISE Increase the range of motion Improves body perception
Improves motor coordination Improves balance

19 DESIGN OF THE SWIMMING TRAINING
Security Entry into water must be gradually and calmly Instructions must be given in a clear and simple way
