A word that describes a verb, an adjective ou another adverb.
Explain when, how, how often, ou to what degree something is done.
En anglais, these usually end in “-ly”
Can you think of some exemples?

Most, but not all adverbs en français, end in « -ment » which is equivalent to « -ly ».

Certain adverbs en français are used to tell « how well » an activity is done…
These include:
très bien
bien
mal
très mal
very well
well
badly
very badly

6. Dans une phrase…
En français, similaire à en anglais, l’adverbe is IMMEDIATELY after le conjugated verb.
J’adore chanter, mais je chante très mal! 
Elle nage souvent parce qu’elle nage bien. 
