Introduction Career options are plenty for an aspirant.

Literature review Fletcher (1999)-50 percentage of the respondents out of 245 graduates in nine Graduate Enterprise Programme (GEP) pursuing business start-up courses were females. Herderson and Robertson (2000) concluded through their study the fact that positive images of entrepreneurship as a career option was negatively affected by lack of identifiable role models, poor media presentations of individual or small firms, lack of encouragement from important influencers on career choices such as teachers and career guidance specialists. 6/15/2019 Dr. Manishankar Chakraborty and Mr. Syed Sadullah Hussainy

Conclusion Females showed more inclination than males.

Dr. Manishankar Chakraborty, A Business Management faculty with Ibra College of Technology, Sultanate of Oman for the last six and a half years in addition to more than a decade of experience in academia and industry in the UAE and India. He has more than 550 publications across journals, periodicals, leading dailies, conferences, symposiums in the Middle-east and Indian subcontinent. He is a blogger on education, management and entrepreneurship and manages two blogs, He also has a micro-blog, has his social media presence in Behance- Facebook pages on teaching and learning- slideshare- YouTube- from linkedin, Google Plus and many others. His research interests includes teaching and learning, entrepreneurship, business management. He is a regular contributor of articles to leading dailies in Oman, GCC and Indian subcontinent.
