Quality Control ensures the product meets the requirements in the design/manufacturing specification. Checked at 3 major points: Raw materials Prototype Production Samples Keywords Quality Assurance Standards setting Inspection Margins of error

5 Task: Draw a quality control flow diagram for making an omelette.
Quality Control flow diagrams… Start What you did e.g. Cut out sleeves Quality Control E.g. Made sure they were the right measurements Task: Draw a quality control flow diagram for making an omelette.

6 Quality control means big effort but…
QC saves money because: Less waste of materials Less time wasted because workers have to repeat less work Fewer products are returned/refunds by customers.
