Embarcadero Rd Churchill Ave N California Ave Oregon Expy +0.6% Grade Length = 3800 ft -1% Grade Rail Embankment Fill at Churchill = 10 ft Roadway Excavation at Churchill = 15 ft Constraints: California Ave Caltrain Station Platform Caltrain Operating Envelop for Construction Limits Construction Limits based on Caltrain Operating Envelop No Impact to California Ave Caltrain Station Platform

Impacts: Removal of existing trees in the buffer between Alma St and the mainline tracks to construct shoofly and maintain Caltrain service Alma St will be temporarily reduced from 45 ft to 25 ft during construction resulting in loss of traffic lanes and/or parking 14 residential properties impacted with an additional 8 residential driveways impacts – approximately 22 residential properties Major utility relocations required along Churchill and Alma Visual impact of raised railroad
